It's not so often that, as Italians living in Denmark, we feel like home. The warm welcome, the level of attention and carefulness are unmatched. Johanna is a living representation of Continental and its menu: fun, surprising, hearty, flavourful.

My husband and I found this gem of a place while cycling through Båstad. We were warmly welcomed by Johanna, who does it ALL! She cooks, bakes, waits tables and takes time to greet and talk with each patron. Her enthusiasm and love for what she does shows in the food she creates. My husband had the lasagna and proclaimed it “BEST EVER”. I said the same about the mushroom soup. The dessert was three tiers of heavenly delight. We stayed to enjoy the company of other patrons and ended up riding our bikes home in the dark. We live about 3,000 km from here but somehow we’re going to figure out how to make this a regular visit. Cheers to Johanna and her lovely daughter!

Very nice place. The lady host(who also cooks and serves) was extremely nice. At the time we went(5pm) it wasn't crowded and she had time to talk to us and explain how she prepares everything. The food was very good, but i think the hospitality of the host was even better.

This is the place in Båstad that you must visit. Once you pass through the door, you are transported back in time. The beautifully old interior resembles the beginning of the XX th century. From the speakers, you can hear nice music, creating a calm and nostalgic atmosphere. The food is truly remarkable. Though it may appear expensive at first, any doubts vanish as soon as you order. The love and attention poured into every dish reassure you that the price matches the quality. For us, the dishes were exceptional—both visually stunning and delicious to taste. You absolutely have to try the desserts, especially the incredible tennis ball. We highly recommend this place, and we’re sure it will remain our "must-visit" spot in Båstad. Finally, we'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the owner and staff for preparing an unforgettable birthday lunch for us. See you again, and good luck.
